01Will ChannelDesk post replies to comments without me?
No. It writes drafts and you decide what gets posted. The only thing that can run on its own is hiding spam (on paid plans), using rules you’ve written and switched on, and you can undo any hide in one click.
02Does it work with Instagram?
Yes. Connect your Facebook Page and the Instagram business account linked to it, and comments on both arrive in the same place, posts and ads alike.
03What if it hides a real customer’s comment?
Unhide it in one click. ChannelDesk only hides what your rules tell it to, and when it isn’t sure what a comment is, it leaves the comment for you. If it gets a label wrong, you can correct it.
04Where do the prices in replies come from?
Straight from your store. We read Shopify stores directly, and any other platform through the product feed you already use for Google Shopping or your Facebook catalogue. Prices and stock refresh every day.
05Can I reply to a comment privately?
Yes. Send a private reply and the conversation carries on in your inbox as a direct message, with a short public note under the comment saying you’ve been in touch. You write that note.
06My customers comment in different languages. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Comments are understood in whatever language they’re written in, and replies are drafted in that same language.
07Do you need my Facebook password?
No. You connect through Facebook’s own login and permissions screen, and you can disconnect anytime. Your Page access is stored encrypted.
08What happens if I go over the free plan’s limits?
